Dark Knight Armoury has everything the Traditional Archer needs. We offer Hand crafted bows, from English Longbows and Fantasy LOTR style bows to Traditional Hungarian Horsebows. You will find Legolas Style Longbows, the ever popular Prologue Bow, Hunting Longbows, Linen Backed English Style Longbows, Hickory Flatbows and much more. Our Medieval style bows all come with a 1 year warranty against manufacturer defects. We offer traditionally made arrows, crafted with cedar shafts and all feathers are glued and tied. We have Medieval Arrows that can be used for Hunting and Target Practice. Our arrow style range from a Traditional English Arrows and Greek Arrows to Fantasy styles like our Dragon Slayer Arrows and Elven Arrows. Dark Knight Armoury carries all the best accessories, from leather quivers and archers arm guards to shooting targets. Our bows and arrows are sometimes made to order, and therefore are a custom order. Once they are ordered they cannot be canceled or returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. In the event there is a defect, your bow will be replaced. Different bows have different availabilities and delivery times. Please make sure you read the Shipping Info on each product before ordering. This will tell you the approximate delivery time.
How to Tell your Draw Length and Draw Weight:
Draw Length: Your Draw Length measurement is how far you draw the bow back before releasing it. To find your draw length stand and extend both arms out in front of you, measure from your chest to the end of your middle finger and subtract two inches. This will find your approximate draw length.
Draw Weight: This is how heavy (in pounds) you will be pulling the bow back at your specified draw length. If you choose 30# and have a draw length of 28", when you pull the bow back to 28" you will be pulling 30#. Draw Weight is hard to determine if you are a beginner, 30# is good to start with and is great for target practice. Usually 40# and higher are recommended for Hunting.

Crossbows | Our line of Decorative crossbows are sure to be an interesting conversation started. These are great for the Medieval enthusiast and collector. Each Medieval Crossbow has functional parts and comes with one crossbow bolt. They are made of hand carved wood with attention to detail. These are not made for actual shooting or reenacting, however they will shoot the bolt a short distanced and are awesome display pieces. |

Japanese Arrowheads | Our Japanese arrowheads (yanone) are faithfully reproduced from originals in museum collections. Some yanone were strictly utilitarian while others, like most of these examples, were beautifully pierced and decorated and used primarily for presentations and temple offerings. These arrowheads, either singly or in groups, are outstanding collectibles and conversation pieces. |

LARP Bows | LARP is gaining ground in the USA and is becoming more and more popular with time. Some games may not have been introduced to LARP Archery or maybe have not tried it yet. Our LARP Bows can be a fun addition to any game and introduce new plots or possibilities making the overall experience for players very nice. Most of the LARP bows are made of fiberglass, some are covered in suede and some even have real wood tips. These LARP bows feature a low draw weight of 24-26 pounds which is the perfect draw weight for gaming. They will shoot our LARP arrows very nicely and are quite safe when used responsibly. There is little to no maintenance with fiberglass LARP bows, and if you're not really into LARPing, but like the look of these bows, you can still use them for regular target shooting. They'll work fine with our traditional arrows as well. |
